The Svadisthana Chakra, or Sacral Chakra, is the second of the seven main chakras, located just below the navel. Its name comes from the Sanskrit words sva (self) and adhisthana (dwelling place), pointing to its role as the seat of our inner emotional world. Associated with the water element and the color orange, it governs creativity, sensuality, pleasure, and the flow of emotions. A balanced Svadisthana invites joy, creative expression, and healthy relationships; when blocked, feelings of guilt, emotional numbness, or creative stagnation tend to surface.
Developed from one year through two years old, it can be represented by the orange color and the water element

This chakra sits between your reproductive organs and your lower abdomen. It represents the creative potential, and pleasure. the energy of the Sacral Chakra allows you to move and change and is about balance in your life, and is also related to savor the feeling. This energy is about letting go of guilt and frustration and go with the flow embracing the uncertainties of life.
When is overactive: overly emotional, poor sexual boundaries, lack of restraint
When is under active: emotionally guarded, low sex drive, lack of passion or intimacy
When is balanced: creative, expressive, sensual, you flow freely without resistance.
