The Chakra system is a framework for understanding human energy that unifies mind, body, and spirit. Chakras are organizing centers that receive, process, and transmit life energy, corresponding to seven major nerve ganglia along the spine. Energy flows through channels called Nadis.
The central channel, Sushumna (Sanskrit for “liberation”), runs from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Two additional channels, Ida (feminine) and Pingala (masculine), crisscross at seven points along the spine, both symbolized by a dormant snake at the base of the spine and when awakened, rises to represent enlightenment. Blockages within or between chakras could reflect what is happening on a person’s life. These can be cleared through practices like yoga, pranayama (breathwork), and meditation to restore the healthy flow of prana (life energy)
Physical blockages in the body can affect the way how the energy moves through the whole system, and to understand how the energy moves, it is necessary to understand what are physical blockages and how to untie them so prone (life energy) can flow freely. Energy blockages can be caused by emotional rage, negative thought patterns, chronic stress, trauma, suppressed emotions and so on.
What are physical blockages?
They can manifest as illness, pain, or chronic tension in the body, and this could be a sign of imbalance in a certain energy center within the main seven major chakras. See below the location of these energy centers and the location in the physical body
Why do we have blockages?
Emotional and physical blockages can be caused by many reasons, we are not here to diagnose or identify them, and by any means this course has the intention to diagnose, treat or cure. The intention of this material is to educate you about the Chakra system and the relationship that it has with the physical body.
